About Our School

About Us

Cottonwood Creek Charter School is located in the historic town of Cottonwood in northern California. We are a kindergarten through 8th grade public school sponsored by the Cottonwood Union School District  and offer a quality, tuition-free education. Our family-friendly school schedules are independent study based and we offer two educational options: traditional classroom site classes and homeschool. Our site based classes are small (maximum of 24 students per class) to optimize learning and teacher/student interaction. We have a wide variety of after-school electives such as music, art, sports, science, ceramics, sewing, drama, technology and study hall to enrich learning. Our goal is to work with families to provide the best educational environment for every child.
